turbo might not be the answer and it can be a timley and costly job what engine you running just having the head done, cam and upping the carb should give you enough to keep up with most plastics

It's a stripped out capri (well it's got the front half of the interior to make it abit more welcoming) running an injection pinto on a twin choke, it's pretty worn too.

 

Looking at things, i've got a few hundred quid to spend, a garage full of old ford bits and minor fabrication isn't too much trouble.

I have an eaton supercharger of a new mini cooper sat in the basement doing nothing. Its ment to be pretty easy job to graft one on to the pinto (thats why I bought it ) But the rumble of a V8 has kinda swung me in a diffrent direction

im building a pinto turbo for my capri....i have a spare exhaust manifold

...not sure if its a tt or janspeed but its good.

Right i've done it! gone and bought some turbo stuff. Might have gone a little OTT though, the stuff i've bought, doesn't come with 1 turbo, but 2
