johnny_h Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 I tried drilling out a sheared manifold stud but didn't manage to remove it all and ended up using a nut and bolt through the hole I drilled to secure the manifold to the head. (probably knackered the thread too) After a quick test drive the manifold lasted around 2 minutes before it sheared the other stud! Arghhh! Today I called Boss racing after a recommendation from Baileymex which is about 20 mins from me and spoke to Dave to ask if he could help out. He said bring the head round and he'll sort it. I asked how much expecting to be broke again before the weekend and he said a score! My faith in garages has been restored! If only all garages were as fair.
