I've got a book where they did that to some Anglias in the '60s. There is one where a Hillman Mink followed the Anglia into a motorway bridge pillar, and the Anglia is not pretty after that

Geez! no euro ncap back then for sure Makes you think though as all the osf's we drive today will fold up like that. I hit a lamp post in my mk1 escy van in the seventies, I was doing less tha 20 mph and the van was fooked, it pushed the engine up and over the passenger seat!!

Get a cage, at our most recent track day we had a chap in a 2dr MK2 Escort (running an XE on 45's) who hit the wall at brands, hard. He had a cage and walked away. I'll put up a pic when i get a new phone lead.

 

I've been criticised for planning to put a cage in my 3.0S, while i agree, it's a damn rare car, that doesn't mean i value my life any less.

 

Old car; speak to 4parajon and get a cage!
