My first car was and still is my Citroen AX GT - I have had it for 6 years next week and still love it to pieces. But I now have a mk1 escort in my collection too.

 

The first car I drove was a mk2 dorchester limo - reversed it off a hill next to a river - I was fine but my other half wasn't!

Mk1 Escy 2 door 1300XL, it was a 75 N reg in stardust silver and by the time I got my hands on it for £60 in 1986 it was already rotten to the core! No pics though they were just old bangers back then and you couldn't give a rough one away. How things have changed eh?

wrote the italian off (on the front of a citroen), crashed the french twice and gave the american to my other half ('twas a ford, couldn't kill it)

mine was a 1959 green 100e pop OFF 168 reg number, had it as a field car when i was 7, im now 20!!! my dad mot'ed it in the end and my next field car was a mk2 escort 2 door 1100 reg number CGF 753S (i think) i was 9 at the time, wich i paid £45 for!!!! unfortunately aint got a pics of either !!!! had a mk1 escort since 2!!! now in 2 anglias
