Engine Steam Clean

Looking at getting mine done by a local company to spruce up the engine bay. Anyone ever had it done?

dad had an industrial steam cleaner at work for the vans and lorries, i stuck it in the van one night and bought it home

its amazing what it does but its pulls the paint of sometimes

my mate did it with a 1.4 vauxhall an blew water into the engine, dunno how.. shite car anyways...

Do mine atleast once a week at work, its the best thing ever !!

 

It won't hurt anything unless you have a crap ignition system that doesn't like getting wet, (old ht leads etc)..

 

If you have too much heat/pressure and hold it too close it can lift the paint and blow it clean off !! It also blows underseal clean away

use a product called GUNK...works wonders!

i use one at work... not had any problems yet...

Do mine regularly, leave it running just to be safe though!
