Only just seen this thread-not enough mk1's in mags,a nice turbo'd one in last months cf and a clean xr in this months but that's it :( ,mine has probably cost the same as building a mk1/2 escort but they're alot cheaper to buy

A bit off topic sorry  but although this car looks the absolute dogs danglies - can you get away with putting wheels with that much offset on a FWD? :?

I must admit that an escort/cortina/anglia/100e etc would turn my head more than a fiesta would on the street but i do love them still. Wouldn't mind one myself but i would convert it to rwd, perhaps that could be my next project.

As a fezzy pop girly, I must admit that I'd like to see more fezza's,

but Retro Ford will never feature one (I doubt they would even feature a rwd one!)

Unlike CF, RF won't change with the times. Which in fairness is up to them.

They have set cars that they will and wont feature.

With Cf however I guarantee in a few yrs mk2 fezzy will be featured.

This is up to the individual magazines.

Performance Ford (RF's sis mag) will and have featured mk1 fezzy's.

I just cant wait to get my jelly zetec'd and in a mag

She's not going to be no show car, but something fun that I can use everyday...

oh and annoy some rude boys in the local asda/halfrauds car parks :ykt:

Did I see your Fiesta in the latest Classic Ford or something?

already happening sadly  i can't believe how much the fezza stuff is shooting up on ebay these days!

on the RF not featuring fezzas point, in all fairness it's their choice to do that - but precisely why i buy CF instead.

i love most of the OSFs, i've got a soft spot for the fezzas, but personally it is interesting to see a good wide range in the mag - which for my money CF does a better job

glad to see we're not getting as much of the "its because they are fwd , so they are shit" attitude. When you go to meets there are loads of mk1/2 escorts all going with a similar look, but fiesta styling etc seems to have a lot more variation. I think its down to the people that have the fiesta's don't have as much money to throw at their cars as the 40+ blokes that build a 20k escort, so they are a bit more creative and end up producing very individual cars.
