FlashCadillac Posted January 14, 2008 Author Report Posted January 14, 2008 think this is a good idea for cheap power imo. a stock 4/5speed box will bolt straight in for rwd conversion. tho u may need a coil pack system from an cheese biscuit or another way of moving the dizzy. or move the engine forward to clear dizzy and turbo cheese biscuit????
Retromotorsport Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 1600/1800 cvh Saphire ... think a few of those had tubos from the RST grafted into them.. same sorta size engine bay

wakesey11 Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 this is probbably useless info for ya but last year at a drift meet i met a couple of loons that had actually grafted a 1900 tall block rst engine with a t4 strapped on side into a late cvh model sierra silly mabee but mutch cheaper than cossie power with not as mutch cutting as you would think an believe me this beast wasnt hangin about!,so u shouldnt hav 2 mutch trouble with the amount of room u have in ur bay
Rick Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 surely as long as the engine block/head arent right up the engine bay then its just a case of making things fit. its no trouble to buy different pipes and modify bits
