285Andy Posted January 18, 2008 Report Posted January 18, 2008 newbie here. just bought a ford popular 100e. picking it up saturday morning! cant wait not the first old skool ive had as ive been through the mk1 and 2 escort ritual but its been way over 5 years ago now so im back in there lol! car is just a standard car atm with its sidevalve engine and 3 speed gearbox (cant believe they put up with that lmao!) but ive already ordered a set of lowering blocks and im about to place an order for a set of 7x13" superlites as i cant get enough of them rims thats all thats happening for the outside. interior is standard and fairly new/overhauled with carpet and thats how its staying. power....... dont know yet but im not sure if you guys are really going to like it much as im a bit of a turbo fan lol. although im not fully commited, things change, bargains turn up etc etc so who knows more over though, its going to get smoked round for a while with the sidevalve for a bit anyway anyway, pics up when i can obviously! cheers all!! andy
