Do you ever get bored with your car?

I wouldn't say I get bored of Jelly- I love taking her out.

I took her for a blast to Rally Design and bk last week

 

I'm cureently frustrated that I've got nowhere to start work on her (garage is full atm)

I got bored the other night waiting for the AA to turn up when the Anglia copped a strop!

 

I am also bored with my engine building... yep for the Anglia. When I think of the cash I have poured into a Pre Crossflow... I think... christ, I could have bought a car for that.

 

I get bored with always having to park the Anglia back up in "The Naughty Corner" and saying.. "Now you can sit there and have a long hard think about what youv'e done".

At the end of the day, I love my two cars, and it IS all worth it when they run and you get to see peoples faces when they admire them... not to mention the fact that they are all total strangers and will quite happily come over to chat to you.

 

Think about it... when was the last time someone came up to you for a chat at random... doesn't happen does it? But if your in an old Ford... it does

However, I have a few mates that just love the build aspect and chasing rare parts, once its done they hanker after something else.

 

I think Dazza gets my point, I was not bored with OSF's or the OSF scene, just was going thru a blue patch but it's passed now and I cant wait for the Summer
