BaileyMex Posted January 27, 2008 Author Report Posted January 27, 2008 Dont get me wrong, when my car is working properly I LOVE IT, the sound, smell, feel etc etc It just that without chucking money at it which I aint got, theres not much else I can do to it, I'd love a set of 45's, a LSD, a 5 speed box with good ratios, but all equal £$£$£$£$ Part of me sometimes wishes it had a big power engine in it, but the other part of me says if you want to go that route, sell it and start with a basic 2 dr shell dont cut up a mex I guess once its fixed I'll be ok

Duke3s Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 I dont get bored - just frustrated that i cant get the money together to finish it as it is in my head, but i supose that is no different to a lot of people! it's running just great but i want an alloy rad with elec. fans, new front legs, all new breaks and finally get round to having my RS 7j's refurbished. But.......even its not quite how i want it, give me a bit of sunshine and a decent stretch of tarmac and im never happier!

I have got bored with previous ones as they have not quite been what i want but this I love it. Always thinking of what i can spend my next bit of pocket money on. Got some twin weber 40's coming soon so thats the next bit of fun to look forward to.

AND YOU DEFINATLY CAN GET BORED OF NUMTIES ASK IN IF YOUR MK 1 ESCORTS FOR SALE AND THEY WOULD GIVE 5 MAYBE 600 QUID FOR IT but really cant moan at that cos thats how i got it!!!!
