I'm sure it will be like the Life on Mars, that took a bit of getting in to, this will be the same I'm sure, by eoisode 3 we'll all be well hooked.

 

I did'nt think it was crap as such, just not amazing, probobly due to all the hype we have totally unreasonable expectations.

Part of the hook of life on mars was that we didn't know if he'd gone back in time, was mad, or was dreaming. This series, we do know, and so does she, so part of the mystique has gone.

 

The music and decor was great though. It doesn't seem that long ago, and that's bloody scary...!

 

I still enjoyed it and am still going to watch it, even though it will turn into the Gene Hunt Catchphrase Show.

I thought it was pretty damn good. The way that the psychology of Alex has tied in with that of Sam is pretty cleverly worked out. There are little seeds sown as well. Such as the way the door Swings open for Hunt to come out of his office without even touching it and, when talking about Sam's death, Ray points out that he should have stuck close to Hunt, as that can be the only way to be sure of staying alive. Some deeper plot left to come I reckon.

 

It was over-hyped, but then us Brits do that with loads of stuff. Ricky Gervais' Extras for instance. Or our sports people (Henman just to name one).
