Its a 2.1 pinto, it has AE pistons which are 93.5 mm ( true 2.1) 205 block, hi pressure hi flow oil pump (new) balanced bottom end, big valve head and ported, New HT1 Kent cam and followers, waterpump .

 

I can prove this engine was puting out 184bhp on Sanspeeds rollers (print out) and most of you have seen it in my car, it has no sump, cam pully, thermostat housing, or flywheel, i have also taken the head of for inspection and its in perfect condition.

 

so wots it worth??

you must have some idea mate?? i would say in my opinion £500-£600 but as a complete engine with sump & more like it has just been pulled out the car maybe £800-£900??

im doing the same not changeing the engine though have te have some grunt for those backroads

probably go broke putting petrol in though

Was your engine that untractable? Or are you going to almost standard and a twin choke - no offence intended but I thought HT1's were quite tractable.

 

It's a beautifull car so using it more has got to be a good thing.
