really lost interest in my car the last few weeks im thinking of selling it after the cf show.

gonna get it finished and have some fun in it first.

i think id rather have the money and enjoy it, it will pay for a damn good holiday for me and the misus.

i love the car and have put about a thousand hours work into it, my dad as much again (not sure hel be to keen on the idea of me selling it though)

iv learned so much from doing it and dont regret it at all despite the stress it has caused at times

not sure what to ask for it in terms of price though. maybe il get some offers at CF show :-)

noooooooooooo don't do it. A holiday is over before you know it. A classic ford is for life. I know what you mean tho, i've gone through patchs of disinterest with my cars. Glad i never sold them tho

It's your car mate if you want to sell it, then sell it. If it wasn't for the fact that I already have two classics I'd probably be somewhere at the front of the queue to buy it (It is orange after all 8)8) )

I suspect though that once you've spent the summer driving it and been involved in all the social scene and other things that come as part and parcel of OSF ownership, you'll decide that whilst you may not miss the metal you'll definitely miss the scene that comes with driving the metal.

Best of luck what ever you choose and don't sweat about it breaking down all the time. Mine's only let me down twice in 3 years and you've put plenty of time and effort into ensuring yours is done to a high standard. I'm sure once you've ironed the bugs out it'll serve you well.

Wait until it's running & MOT'ed & take it for a blast! Guarantee you won't want to sell it

Mine maybe a bog standard 1100 estate but it still turns heads & still makes me grin like a loon when I drive it
