beu_79 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 After two and a half years rebuilding my escort after an accident on the m25 in 2004 me and my dad got it all resprayed and in october my sister used it as her wedding car. It's my daily drive so the rebuild took a long time because we had to do little bits here and there. Was well chuffed with it when it was finished. Then this morning i was behind someone at a roundabout, both looking at the traffic, looked back at the car in front and they were pulling away, looked back and it was clear started pulling away and wallop. Shunted the car in front. Couldn't believe it, i was certain they'd gone. Front panel's gone, think passenger side wing has too, not sure about slam panel. So f**kin gutted. Gonna have to do all that work again, such a careless thing to do.
bomber1 Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 m8 thats such an easy mistake to make. i really hate people that stop on an empty junction/roundabout wtf is that about? tbh hopefully it wont take to much to put right but i do feel ur pain

They looked at one another and he said, we should go back and check it's not just lying there hurt. She looked back at him, stuck her car in reverse, threw her hand over the back of his seat and shot back over it backwards!! Needless to say they're not together anymore.
Fiesta Steve Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 I came flying round a corner in my Fiesta one day and there was a Badger in the middle of the road, I couldn't swerve 'cos there was a car coming towards m8 so I thought I'd line it up between the wheels and go over it. My car was lower than I thought It smashed the front panel to pieces, so much that it completely came away from the wings, the front spoiler was ripped off, it sheared both downpipes clean off, snapped the 19mm bolt that holds the gear change stabliser bar to the box !! I didn't kill it though, it was already dead
Fiesta Steve Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Back on topic, sorry to hear about your car, hope its sorted soon
