DAZZA Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 Fancy doing an old Tranny, full on Rat, in primer, rust, non-matching panel colours, faded sign writing.... but dropped with dished wheels, pulling a 1/43 trailer with something or other on the back, so ive started this....... then slinging the whole lot on ebay for stupid money like that guy from the Midlands is doing!!!!!!!!!!!
DAZZA Posted March 12, 2008 Author Report Posted March 12, 2008 In primer..... dont know whether to go Rat/Rust, or paint it. Either way its getting lowered with dished steels
DAZZA Posted March 13, 2008 Author Report Posted March 13, 2008 Put about 5 hours on it so far. Primer, Suspension & Wheels (they have to roll, no glued up mess here!)
hotrodholty Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 looks the nutts mate , but to be honest i liked it better in the primer only my opinion though i need to get buying some models to mod

hotrodholty Posted March 18, 2008 Report Posted March 18, 2008 interesting to see how you get on. you should make a certificate signed by yourself to say it is a total one off built by "DAZZA MODELS LTD" did you brush or spray the paint, also what wheels did you use/what scale is it? thanks tom
DAZZA Posted March 18, 2008 Author Report Posted March 18, 2008 Always use spray, I find Halfords own to be the perfect pressure and lay followed by a compound and polish. Im trying to get my Airbrushing tecnique up to par, which ensures less orange peel and a lighter coats with more accuracy. The model is 1/43rd, if you look at the "admex" build up in this section, it shows the basics I use for dishing a 1/43 wheel.
