4parajon Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 Anyone else had theres yet?? Mine is £1286.96 and I'm in Band D. I would be interested to see how that compares nationally with everyone elses, so post yours up The thing that pisses me off is that they have increased the GM Police Authority from last year by 7.5% Now dont get me wrong, this is not a dig at the police at all. But they have just been given a pay rise of 2.4% (if I remember correctly, and IMO is'nt nearly enough) so how do the councils come up with the figure of 7.5% for actual policing, it does'nt make sense????? The Fire & CD Authority (whatever the CD Authority is, as I havent a clue) has also risen by 3.5% The actual bill itself has risen by 2.9% from last year I would'nt mind so much but the area which I live in is quite nice IMO but the roads are a disgrace, your either bouncing through big pot holes or yomping over massive speed bumps Does anyone else think they get "value for money" from there local authority.......or is it just me??
Burns Posted March 6, 2008 Report Posted March 6, 2008 *doesn't mention that students don't pay council tax...*
