old skool bus

did anyone else watch last nights overhaulin? they did an old ford skool bus. if you did'nt see it watch it, this thing is coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

Ian, I heard that the double copped bus got unchopped as it was a rare one!!

The bus fell into disrepair and SCW lost the storage for the bus, it was sold on to a collector in the midlands, who later sold it on elsewhere, The bus was "Unchopped", for a trip to germany for some football match, unchopping was not such a hassle as the bottom deck was never chopped, the window tops were lowered to make it look chopped, so they were reskinned to full opening size, The top is still chopped!!!! I think the bus is owned by a bus collector in the SE now, so I assume its future is safe.

It was written up somewhere the bus was chopped for the football match so the bus could negotiate the low bridges on the way to Germany, but I think some of the SMW have put this untruth to rest
