Chud Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Mate i know what it's like after spending 5 years waiting for my GT to be finished, sourcing parts, working like an idiot to get the cash for mostly second hand parts cos most of the time thats all i could afford! I'm only just starting to drive her and she still has a few niggley faults to sort but when i'm out in the sunshine windows down with people gawping at her it all becomes worth the hastle and endless grief!! Stay POSSEtive the SUN will come out eventually and your be glad you hung on in there geezer!

FredTransit Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Get a good night's sleep, get up and have a fresh look at em. It's worth all the grief in the end. The last time I was out in passenger seat in the Mk1 transit I counted 6 people smiling, one thumbs up and a wave! The next time I took her for her test (passed) but on the way home there was a nasty burning smell and it turned out the wiper motor was burning out. Swings and roundabouts mate, it will get better again soon.
