Also depends on your leaf springs condition and camber . Put 2 inch blocks on some and the car hits the floor but on another it doesn't drop much  . Best to try it with 2 inchers first and drive it with these for a while until the car settles

3" is what mine is and i've got mex steels with 185 60 13's but i did have 7j rev's with 175 50 13's and it was as good as gold but i've only got 1" till i hit the bump stops and its a nightmare to jack up but with a heavy canber it handles great :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

you wouldnt really wana try anymore than 3 inches i dont think, it would be a bit unstable when any sidewards force is applied

No, this car was from back in the day, around 1995-1996 roughly, his mate Lee Madelin from dagenham was drifting in Ned's cars back then, and boy could he drive the escort, thats when ferry lane roundabouts had just been built, still got the video footage somewhere

The engine was built by torque developments in barking, before they went jap

He just had a HT racing sticker on it, to make it look the part

If the car is BUILT to the ride hight you want then the one thing that limits you going any lower will be the scrub line, ie if you take all your tyres off nothing but the rims should be on the ground as a blow out would be a fooking fun ride :mrgreen:

3" blocks on the rearand short billies with coilovers on the front.. The front cross member of my car is 3.5" off the deck. But could go lower as they look cool with the sparks flying.

ohhh, so it was stolen before ned owned it? just spoke to the missus, we reckon it had to be 1997-1999 ish that the kiddie i knew had it & we used to do the shows together. he sold up years ago now though & left the scene. he had it featured in cf too while he owned it.
