LEONMEX Posted April 11, 2008 Report Posted April 11, 2008 Thought id post up a few pics of my mk1 escort (as suggested by alex) had the car 9 years now & it went under a 5 year restoration that included 2 new complete rear quarter panels,fibreglass front mex wings,fibreglass boot,bonnet,bumpers,re-skinned both doors,new rear valance,outer skin sills,& a change from a 1700 holbay x-flow to a 2.1 185bhp randall race engine. The car was originally daytona yellow but had a complete re-spray in olympic blue. The suspension set up is 2.8 coilovers on the front & english axle on the rear with tramp bars & panard rod,soon to be getting tran-x lsd fostek half shafts. Interior is NOT comfy & warm with kirkey alloy seat for me & rear roll cage for passengers mainly stripped out & as light as possible. the car does get used & very abused & it loves it Enjoy.
