i think i must have upset some one a bit, eh?

bloody reassuring perfomance the chaps did though, really looked everywhere, though it was a bit of a nerve jump, you just dont expect what it feels like to be in that situation,im glad i had nothin to hide ,,,,,,,,,,,but i will kill who ever told the boys in blue that porkie!B******S

Now the good news, if you are ever up to something a tiny bit naughty the Police won't take any future 'informants' too seriously!

Had on neighbour 'grass' us up for having untaxed vans up and down the street. I saw a motorbike copper inspecting one of the (genuine) tax discs and asked if anything was wrong. When he told me I insisted he came in for a cuppa and insisted he looked at every one of the vehicle files, at the time all 18 of em. All of them on the road were taxed and tested. Made a big show of waving him off with a smile. Never heard any more after that.....

Had that done to me too, apparently i was selling stolen fegs from the house and the peelers came, i obliged and let them in with no fuss, they saw no evidence and said that they had to follow allegations like that up and appoligised.

The village im form though is King unreal for loose talk and every1 that does the talikng are ex-jailbirds and by no means angels, pisses me off, i know where your coming from

But as stated the cops even said that they would be taking anonymous phone calls about me less seriously next time so evrey cloud.......

well ,yes they did appologise and i ended up giving the chaps a few pointers on what is what with fords!

the bugger who i think gave them the false lead i reckon is a guy who has been buggin me for ages and offering to buy one of my motors[which is NOT for sale] last visit he said" everything is for sale just to settle on a price, or pay a price} thinly veiled threat or what?

the thing is as i said to the police ,i buy a 37 year old car how do i know the engine in it has not been nicked? i may have stolen engines there bought in good faith, where do you stand?

the strange thing is they seemed unaware of the classic ford theft plague that is in the south now but they are going to check up on it.

it is pretty scary though and especially when they ask ,can you show receipts for all of this?some of it i got 8 years ago,so i had to say no not really, but i do know i may not find any again, so they searched ,understood and left ,and hopfully they will now maybe keep an eye on my stuff and all of yours too
