Granny calipers and cossy calipers are the same, but everyone say's cossy cos they're performance!!

I think the 106 discs are the same pattern part no. as the fiesta discs, I think they're off a van aswell but I can't remember which one.... :?

I have bolt on brackets not weld on which is a really easy conversion. Hand brake cable was the only issue on mine (cortina - dash mounted) but I think the escort is easier. The cable is an early cosworth cable. A bracket is needed one side onto the car floor - I'm sure I've seen a kit including all the parts - with a bolt on cable bracket too.

i used the si,erra cable , i made the right hand bracket from a bedford midi van throttle cable bracket  and the half shaft brackets ray i made ourselves , which we have made a job lot if anyone needs any , plus obviuosly machine the shafts to fit the discs

You need to modify the mounts and turn down the disc to bring the calliper closer to the axle.

Don’t buy the kit from burtons it will not fit under the rs wheel

Ok thanks mate, as i said i m hoping just to trplace the R/D calipers with ones that will bolt on the excisting brackets and fit within a 13ins wheel
