antz Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 personally i wouldnt pay that for a rusty mex that doesnt run with no seats but then thats just me.
fatbloke racing Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Thats cheap at the mo but how many people are watching/waiting?????? Could do with seeing the underside etc, shame about the contour seats, but then probably had his arm pulled off, typical fleebay....
DeanMk1Capri Posted April 14, 2008 Author Report Posted April 14, 2008 I thought it was pretty cheap too, tis a shame about the interior. I guess it needs to be watched till the end to see what it ends up making, like you say, could be lots watching it that are last min bidders.
Mr.Sumo Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 £2750 with 14 hours to go....gonna go for over 3 grand then I"d have them seats any day...would suit the NanaWagon to a T

badchild Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Wouldnt be for the faint hearted to build did it before and personally i wouldnt do it again
DizzyDennis Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 Seems to me like nothing ford and old skool is cheap on ebay everyone pays over the odd on there but it the easiest way to sorce an old ford. Swings and round abouts like most things lol
Guest MK1gaz Posted April 14, 2008 Report Posted April 14, 2008 It's foooookin rotten + big bucks to restore properly . Stick £10,000 in the kitty just for the bodywork

shaun1.6ghia Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 2 hours and £3000 a bit steep, but thats what theyre making on ebay.. good time to sell, not to buy.
Admin Vista Posted April 15, 2008 Admin Report Posted April 15, 2008 Doesn't look full of holes to me, looks a sensible project with some panelwork needed. Strut tops look good as does the boot floor, sills and arched (albeit with the limited photos used) there's always going to be something to do on a 35 year old ford. Money? Seems expensive for a project car but if that's what they fetch then that's what they fetch. Who on here wouldn't want the most they could get for something they were selling?

If u've got the time, space and knowledge then worth restoring yourself... Other than that u'd have to add a few quid more to your budget...
5hane Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 personally i wouldnt pay that for a rusty mex that doesnt run with no seats its stupid aint it, my dad might be getting a twin cam (no engin amitedly, but know a lotus lump for sale) for much much less, and its a mint shell... all depends if it has the number plates on it
DeanMk1Capri Posted April 15, 2008 Author Report Posted April 15, 2008 Sold for £3,600 then, I thought it might be around that price... the one i'm after is better condition, 2 owners, original interior and cheaper, so fingers crossed! thanks for your comments guys
Retromotorsport Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 Looking at that .. the rear inner tubs had work which probably means its had arches .. the pic showing the door and sill ...sill is proud so could be a cover and with a floor like that i would expect both 'A' pillars to be shot .. heater plenum and lip .. floors .. dunno i would say its not for the faintheated and gaz is probaly right .. for once .. theres 10k in bills on the restoration .. bearing in mind just the panels for a front end come to £2500
