Don't quote me on that but it's worth calling him before you spend time or money on them.

Yeomans22 Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 i used a wire wheel attachment in the drill worked really well couldn't get in to the deep part of the rim but if u got a bigger wheel shuould be able to.

Stu_B Posted April 15, 2008 Report Posted April 15, 2008 haha the best technique is to hold it between your flat palms and slide them together.... much like starting a fire with a stick!! not much good for stripping paint but do four wheels like that & your arms will be huge

Ratters Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 i had my mex steelies that i am going to fit sandblasted & wet sprayed. estimate £20 for sandblasting per wheel or £30 blast & powdercoat at our local places the [suspected] lotus cortina pair that i am going to use as spare rear wheels i am doing by hand at the moment. it isn't much fun but passes the time i spose

Ratters Posted April 16, 2008 Report Posted April 16, 2008 that's prices from two powdercoaters we use through work who are in bristol - i'm 99.9% that is their standard prices too.
