mk1super Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 we's british guy, westwood Westwood.......... Hmmmm Who can take a lanky 40 year old man who clearly thinks he is black and was born in America seriously? Or be daft enough to leave there car with him. I mean come on his dads a Vicar! The man is quite clearly a "nae righter" and should be tied to a pole dowsed in water then zapped by a Eletric cattle prod till he talks properly! I like Westwood the way i like Fig Rolls and i hate Fig Rolls! Continue as you were

Stu_B Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 But that is no reason for everyone to not just get on with it and fit a pre-crossflow in everything!! (Lawn mowers included) Most sensible thing said yet
PIG Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 mine aint slow and it aint got no shitty zetec, but i do have the badboy puff daddys Give us a picture then Pig... I haven't seen hide of ur car for about 2 yrs. ir was at all the shows last year fella and a few track days.only been off the road for 6months.back on the road in june i think, wider and lower. gaz those old shitters would'nt cut the mustard round here fella
MK2Ed Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Yep true, I'm thinking now I saw it at Ford Fair 07... Anyway I digress...
cossieglen Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Just got back from a rolling road day at Track and Road. Stuck my Jaguar X-Type 2.0D on the rollers at the end as a placebo to prove the accuracy of the equipment there. Manufactuers data for the 2.0D engine in my car is: 133bhp (130ps) 243lbs/ft (330nm) My car made: 133bhp (130ps) 243lbs/ft (330nm) Below is a scan of the graph and data for proof. So I think it's fairly solid evidence that the rollers at Track and Road are supremely accurate!
Toby Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 So I think it's fairly solid evidence that the rollers at Track and Road are supremely accurate! And Jaguars engines! Zero telerance!
Guest MK1gaz Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 loving the diesils 240ibls feet at 2600 revs but then only 125 ibls feet at 4600 revs . Why do diesil engines do that ? Bloody weird isn't it ? . Track n road reads slighlty higher than Sanspeed . A bit higher than Power engineering and a far bit higher than Torque of the Devil

cossieglen Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 Yep, you can feel it in the car, as soon as you're over say 3750 it just loses all go, change gear at 3500 though and you can pedal them along pretty swiftly once they're going, just a pain when you're pulling off, first gear lasts about 10 nanoseconds!
cossieglen Posted May 18, 2008 Report Posted May 18, 2008 So I think it's fairly solid evidence that the rollers at Track and Road are supremely accurate! And Jaguars engines! Zero telerance! It's coz it's a Ford engine Toby
cossieglen Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 Big thread revival here, but just wanted to point out that cossie matt's duratec is still superb. 9th overall and 3rd in class at the tour of caerwent rally is fairly solid evidence.
sambo Posted April 30, 2010 Author Report Posted April 30, 2010 Glad to hear it mate. If Your bro says the Duratec is better than his wicked YB then its good enough for me.
cossieglen Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Indeed mate, he totally adored his N/A Cossie too, so to say that the duratec is that much better is really saying something. I do know he does secretly pine for the cossie look in his engine bay still though
