atomic punk Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Anyone fitted a standard sized stereo into a newer Ford? I ask cos the hole is a funny shape I wondered if theres some sort of blanking plate to fit them? I want a CD player for mrs Mk2mad's 97 Fiesta.....
RFChris Posted November 16, 2006 Report Posted November 16, 2006 Halfords do the kits mate, or motor world. Its just a blanking plate that makes the hole a single din size. Chris

Daggle Posted November 17, 2006 Report Posted November 17, 2006 Be careful when you put it in, cause the plastic lugs are really easy to break, also add just a touch of glue to the edge, just to stop it rattling. Oh and I would put the blanking plate above the radio as it seems to fit better there in my Focus anyway, plus it means the stereo isn't resting on a bit of plastic.
