got my hands on an early 1980s raleigh super tuff burner, been cleaning and fixing it up. I had a few burners growing up in the 80s, anyone else have one?

one xmas in early 80s, I got a striker, and my brother got a grifter.

 

We had thundergrip motor sounds, the clip on throttle that made bike noises. Any those yellow megaphone sirens, a few kids had them.

There is a NOS Burner in the local bike shop window, White with green and red stickers, black mags.... £250!

super tuffs had the skyway wheels that returned to shape after a buckle of you put them in the freezer I had an ultra burner (black with gold detailing) and an aero burner (team rally edition) for racing happy days

nice mate, i used to have a chrome mongoose, mx brakes, white tuff 2's layback seat post. my mate had a burner 2 i think blue with yellow tuff 2's, seat and grips. old skool bmx's

wow had a white and blue burner !! used to jump dirt on it untill hitting the take off ramp and nose diving into the landing ramp snaping the forks and bending the handlebars. boo

class looking bike stooby, quite like the lowrider/beachcruisers myself. and that car is a nissan cube I believe as the pic looks to be from the land of the Yanks
