mk1super Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 As one of the few regular posting Scots on here, i wanna say how deeply ashamed iam of the conduct of my fellow countrymen in Manchester. There behavior was completely out of order, and i hope they chuck the book at everyone of the buggers they arrested. I was mortified when i seen what they had got up to. It makes you ashamed to be scottish.
MightySprocket Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 to be fair what did they expect. 1000's of fans allowed to drink in the streets from stupid o'clock in the morning until the match.... and now manchesters surprised it got naughty and they have left a mess are coppers and politicians really that stupid or did the fact that millions will have been spent by the visitors in 2 days make up for it
oxb1l Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Also telling supporters that they will see the game on Big screens then nothing would any other supporters have been upset ??? my neighbour paid £900 for a ticket it turned out to be for the Zenit end and he never got in Bill
Trevmk3 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 bit like when my mate went to watch Liverpool v Milan the second time round, he had paid shed loads for a genuine ticket and wasnt alowed into the stadium as they had let so many people with fake tickets in
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 You guys were great when you came down to Bradford for Stuart McCall's testamonial. Party atmosphere, and I saw no trouble at all.
Trevmk3 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 same when they came to derby for ted mcminns match, it all kicked off because they had been drinking and the screen they were at wasnt working, and then they decided to start punching each other. it wasnt like they were provoked by opposition fans though
mk1super Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 Thats us jocks for you, if they cant find anyone else to fight with they fight amung themselves
escortmad79 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 same when they came to derby for ted mcminns match, it all kicked off because they had been drinking and the screen they were at wasnt working, and then they decided to start punching each other. it wasnt like they were provoked by opposition fans though Most sickening scene was several hundred Rangers "fans" chasing 6 police officers up the road, tripping one of them & wading in to kick the f**k out of him whilst he was down!

D4N Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 I know it wasnt rangers but it was celtic that came for the Shearer testamonial and they were great even when they were completely drunk. Singing along with all the geordies. thats what it should be about. There is fans like this for every team. Stupid really!
MK2Ed Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 Thats us jocks for you, if they cant find anyone else to fight with they fight amung themselves You're telling me.... My old mans from Glasgow and he's still fighting people at his age... Just seen the scenes and it looked pretty bad - they've done themselves no favours. Talk of a total street drink ban already...
NHR115 Posted May 15, 2008 Report Posted May 15, 2008 I agree with you A1ex, i'm deeply ashamed of them all and i dont even come from Glasgow or like Rangers. I knew it wouldn't be a peaceful game regardless of the score
escortmad79 Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 same when they came to derby for ted mcminns match, it all kicked off because they had been drinking and the screen they were at wasnt working, and then they decided to start punching each other. it wasnt like they were provoked by opposition fans though Most sickening scene was several hundred Rangers "fans" chasing 6 police officers up the road, tripping one of them & wading in to kick the f**k out of him whilst he was down! Just seen it again on the news, one of the Rangers "fans" filmed it on his phone as they waded in kicking & punching him! One person amongst them tried to stop the others from kicking him whilst he was on the deck & got a smack in the face for his trouble!
MK2Ed Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 Nutters... I really didn't think there would be trouble... Jock fans normally behave themselves............but this is from the country that invented football hooliganism (remember 1977). This also from supporters from a fan base that sing the national anthem, drape themselves in the Union and Ulster flag and endorse her majesty as a figurehead...
Wessie Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 it makes me sick , there not football fans, there hooligans/yobs/bullies/animals
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 There's a Retards Club group called 100,000 Mancunians going to glasgow to smash the shit out of your city!!!!! which my mate in manchester has just joined. http://www.Retards Club.com/group.php?gid=13694538723 There's this video. Watch the lad in the middle of the screen (in the no 11 shirt) get smacked by someone. I've not seen any news or tv this week so I didn't realise it was that bad.
escortmad79 Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 He got punched by someone wearing a cowboy hat, wasn't you was it Brokeback?
Duke3s Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 Was pretty bad. I live near and was in around the city centre working that day..... I just couldnt believe how many there were! And so much traffic - even for Manchester...... in the end people didnt stop at red lights or anything - just kept on going - carnage!
bronze4door Posted May 17, 2008 Report Posted May 17, 2008 i was clever and stayed at home and worked on my mk1 all afternoon
