RFChris Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Well. I had to replace the Rover. I gotta get to work y'know. This is my new toy, and hopefully it will last longer than a week. Its got a genuime 86,000 miles on the clock, service history and loads of MOT. Goes well too. And its bloody mint. Only set me back £490 too so all in all quite happy. Just gotta get rid of the rover now....... ....oh, and yes, i know the gear gaiter is vile. I'll be changing that.
Pipster007 Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 Is that the look of shock and disgust by the two in the background both thinking "What the f**k has he bought now"

Tom Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 you buy far too much shit mate. if you saved the money that you spent on the last 8 cars that you've bought in as many days you could buy something half decent
Admin Vista Posted September 10, 2006 Admin Report Posted September 10, 2006 under £500??? I bought a 94 L one of these when it was nearly new it cost me well over £10000 and I hated it so much I took it back after a week, fortunately they'd sold me it as a one owner vehicle but when the reg document arrived it wasn't so I had grounds for a refund. My complaint? "If I'd wanted a Cavalier I'd have bought a Cavalier, but you twats at Vauxhall conned me by sticking a short skirt and low cut top on it and calling it a Calibra!!" I believe I compared it to going home with a sexy bird after 10 pints of stella only to find you'd chew your own arm off to escape without waking her in the morning! That said, despite being a coupe they do have a very big boot and perfectly useable rear seats so aren't as impractical for a family as they initially seem.
Twinkle Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 chris what is it with you m8 maybe you should get a scooter or summat, let me know when you need another car im sure i could find you a nice reliable one, wanna range rover
