How F*cked were the Camping/showground fields at CF ?

heard a few things about various fields not beeing used ???, couldnt make it up myself at the weekend, but got a vauxhall (i know sorry) show this weekend, and really want to pull out of camping if it is much like a bog

 

any info would be

there were a couple of mud ponds that various members of osf camped in (they know who they are )

 

a lot of it was alright though

i think a few needed towing out

we planned to get there very early anyway to get a decent patch

 

didnt know if the historicly better field (one round the back level with the finish line) was beeing used too ?

nah, just the one down on the left next to the dodgems, it was alright if you got a decent pitch

 

i think that other field was being used for general parking and the rally course

We camped in there right next to the road all the Anglias and it was ok the road way inside the field was ok untill a few Apple Pies started fooking

about thinking they are rally drivers ............not alot of brains but then again their cars only cost about five bob

the organisers were in two minds to let us use that field but we were lucky

and i got a good nights sleep ,well the beer helped.

it didnt look that bad when we got there but got stuck with the caravan getting out and then in the small ponds dotted around bit of a mission
