jr Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 heard a few things about various fields not beeing used ???, couldnt make it up myself at the weekend, but got a vauxhall (i know sorry) show this weekend, and really want to pull out of camping if it is much like a bog any info would be
Burns Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 there were a couple of mud ponds that various members of osf camped in (they know who they are ) a lot of it was alright though
Mr Sam Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 get there early for a less boggy patch i think a few needed towing out
jr Posted June 3, 2008 Author Report Posted June 3, 2008 we planned to get there very early anyway to get a decent patch didnt know if the historicly better field (one round the back level with the finish line) was beeing used too ?
Burns Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 nah, just the one down on the left next to the dodgems, it was alright if you got a decent pitch i think that other field was being used for general parking and the rally course
Admin Mk2Jo Posted June 3, 2008 Admin Report Posted June 3, 2008 The first field on the left as you go in was also being used for camping and looked okay
awesome Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 The first field on the left as you go in was also being used for camping and looked okay We camped in there right next to the road all the Anglias and it was ok the road way inside the field was ok untill a few Apple Pies started fooking about thinking they are rally drivers ............not alot of brains but then again their cars only cost about five bob the organisers were in two minds to let us use that field but we were lucky and i got a good nights sleep ,well the beer helped.
timmy4doors Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 it didnt look that bad when we got there but got stuck with the caravan getting out and then in the small ponds dotted around bit of a mission
ZetecVan 2.0 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 This is how f**ked they were.... You can just about see the OSF flag in the top left of the first one. This is the view from my tent which was next to the barrier opposite the dodgems
X-pack-Glyn Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 thank god the fields at coc wont be like that as they are only camped on twice a year
Trevmk3 Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 i made it across the mud a couple of times in the Cortina, was a bit damp in places mind
mr zefect Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 yes thats us in the middle of the mud it ruined my flip flops
antz Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 if you pitched right under the OSF flag it was fine i was nice and dry

sab6024 Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 I was the muppet wearing white jeans and they stayed relatively clean . I didn't think it was that bad, but then I do walk around with my eyes closed most of the time
shaun1.6ghia Posted June 4, 2008 Report Posted June 4, 2008 if you pitched right under the OSF flag it was fine i was nice and dry
