Jimmy McRae (Colins Dad) tought me how to drive 'properly' on a competition I won - 'S ierra Performance Challenge' - at Knockhill in the late '80's in an RAC prepared RS500 & an RS200.

Also met Ari Vatenen, Russell Brookes, Malcolm Wilson, Colin McRae & Richard Burns on the Kielder stages service points & Goodwood over the years.

ALSO - used to deliver parts to Malcolm Wilsons place in Carlisle (then Cockermouth) for the (then) Works Ford Rallyesport Team.

- Now its his own multimillionpound business 'supported' by Ford for the WRC Cars.

(do you know that the average WRC Focus costs @ half a million 'off the shelf' - 1 million if you want other 'stuff' added! ).

i played guitar for a living for 4 years and toured america with my band, met quite a few famous people inc my hero steve Jones sex pistols original guitarist, pete townsend, steve diggle (buzzcocks) and played guitar for Tenpole tudor for a while, oh and glen matlock, Robert smith (the cure), and a few others i cant remember

oh and Barry sheene, ron haslam, kenny roberts, all in 1979 at silverstone.
