FredTransit Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Question. If vegetarians don't want to eat meat, why are vegetarian products made to imitate it? I don't want to eat meat in the shape of a carrot........

Noodles Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 If god did'nt want us to eat meat then he would'nt have made them taste so good!
surfingturnip Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 not a fan of quorn if I'm honest. The one and only time I've eaten it I was violently ill straight afterwards. Each to their own though
mk2_escort_chick Posted June 5, 2008 Author Report Posted June 5, 2008 I quite like the stuff I think they try to make it taste/look/feel like meat because a lot of veggies ate meat before and quite enjoyed it. Its just the fact that they think its wrong to eat it beacause of how its kept, killed etc.
Stu_B Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 My girlfriends veggie & whenever i cook for her i never use any of that meat substitute crap... just loadsa veggies... besides, all that corn/tofu stuff makes me fart
mk2_escort_chick Posted June 5, 2008 Author Report Posted June 5, 2008 ... besides, all that corn/tofu stuff makes me fart Pmsl!!! I can honestly say I dont suffer with that problem
Messenjah Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 battery farming is more environmentally friendly then freerange farming especially with cattle .... the Excess methane produced by the cows in battery farmins is collected and sold on and not realeased into the atmosphere ... and think of it this way ... a battery farmed animal knows no different .... if you would prefer chickens and what not to be free range you are then killing an animal that had a decent life trather then putting it out of its misery ... if you dont want to eat meat its your choice but i cant see why myself ... its the food chain and we are at the top ...
over_head_cam Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 I had a lovely raw squirrel with a side of live chickens. mmmmmm

Mr Sam Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 the McDonalds spicey veggie deli is rather delightful although the fookers gave me a chicken one oneday
FredTransit Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 We are designed to eat not just veg but also meat. If god had wanted us to be vegetarian he would not have given us canine teeth.
