mk2 stu Posted June 6, 2008 Report Posted June 6, 2008 The car is finally (nearly ) finished!! got to weld exhaust and finish wiring, bar gettin a spoiler and some interior bits i should be ready for the L2B!! yer baby! 4 years of building and i'm so close, just got to find a couple of hundred quid to sort a dodgy wheel (thanks tom ha ha) and get a few odds and sods and shes there!! Pics will be arriving shortly as will the bidding war from all the big mags wanting a new cover car (erm perhaps not!!) So fekking chuffed i'm going out on piss tonight to celebrate!! Big thanks to- SBD / Mark for the clutch cable spacer / gary at prep and paint for the awesome paint job / southern carbs / Tom for stealin his ideas / sean for geein me on / and anyone else who's been a massive help. Its about time, took long enough but hey cant rush perfection (or a decent lash up!)
mk2 stu Posted June 8, 2008 Author Report Posted June 8, 2008 This is two days ago, jus waiting for new alloy expansion tank and to fit oil catch tank. Test fitting rear bumper, gonna re spray it when i do the pair of rs door handles i got from escort tec (cheers mark!) Got to get front bumpers. . . or not? Hopefully gonna fire it up over next two weeks!! Oh and Tom i'm keeping the olympic blue!! But got something planned for the vinyl work!

Its a little too low may have to jack it up a tadge. . . . .nah!!! See ya at the drag strip soon chaps!!
