V8ian Posted June 30, 2008 Report Posted June 30, 2008 I can remember folowing Mr Torquer up to the Pod in convoy of various race cars, when he had a "C" clip failure on his back axle, and watching the rear wheel start to drift away fron the car at about 70mph , "C" clips were used on Chevy axles to retain the 1/2 shafts, not a good system, and If I remember correctly the axle was changed to a 9" shortly after,
