Could i go about finding out where my Escort was built its spec colour etc?

 

And how comes my escorts door locks are in the door handles and i only got key entry on drivers side

As to where it was built, all UK RHD non RS escorts were built at Halewood, the RS ones used shells from Halewood with final assembly at the AVO plant at Aveley in Essex

Thats why i spent a hell of alot on security! Iam not that daft i seen the posts on ere

 

Its only my drivers door that has a key whole now i was thinking if by some chance i could get a drivers side door handle without a key hole i wonder if i could go keyless entry???

 

And vista its a 70 mk1 super, what iam curious about is did they come round or square lamp? Also if i have an early escort why does my front panel lack crank handle hole

 

Also are these supers rare? As i had inteded to moddify the car, how ever if they are i will have to re think what i want to do with it as dont want to ruin what could be a rare car.
