Lukey48screamer Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 Can anyone help, Im trying to get insured for the one day on sunday for the old London to brighton but none of the companies I can find will do it on my car... I asked why and they just say they cant insure my group - wtf??? Has anybody done this before and had any luck and if so, with who I ask! Dont wana take out no long term thing coz Im rippin me engine out next week with any luck... Grrrr!
glenbo Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 couldnt you take out a long term and then cancel it after a week telling them you have sold the car or something or would this be too costly?
caprinerd Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 use to be able to freeze it for a time , dont thet do that any more?
bomber1 Posted July 24, 2008 Report Posted July 24, 2008 tbh ur going to need insurance once the engine is back so just get cover then u wont need to worry once its back together
Lukey48screamer Posted July 24, 2008 Author Report Posted July 24, 2008 In a way your right but its a whole new engine going in over the course of 2weeks then Im away for 1 week... so its guna likely be a month off the road which is a fair sum of dosh worth-tried all the sites google offer and my car is in the wrong group??? Yeh the way too fkin cool car club Aint that OSF?
