Copey Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 the tap in the kitchen has been drippin for a while, my dad went to tighten up the pipe today, it split and now water has gone everywhere, and we can't reach the water stop tap outside as its far too low and burried under loads of sludge, so now i am soakin wet and filthy, and we still cant stop the leek, oh joys!!!

Copey Posted August 9, 2008 Author Report Posted August 9, 2008 managed to find a stop cap in dads van, doesnt fit quite right so its still drippin, dads gonna head to the office and check if they have the part we need to fix it i had already had a shower today, now i have had a 2nd, very cold! shower

He does all his own plumbing and was just trying to manipulate a bit of pipe into a connetcion when the other end, attached to a valve, popped out and we had mains pressure exploding all over his bedroom! I was downstairs and turning the main tap off in seconds... I've never moved so fast in my life! Bloody laugh now we look back at it...
D4N Posted August 9, 2008 Report Posted August 9, 2008 I had a flood in my bathroom on thursday morning. I was lying in bed and thought what the fook is the tap running in my bathroom for.. Got up and checked and there was water flooding out the pipes. I was running around didnt know how to turn it off. Went to turn the water for the hole house off and it didnt work (turns out thats broken). Anyway after the water flooded my room out my dad got it stoped. We were realy lucky we are going on holiday tomorow if it happened then the house would be fooked
