You dont have to be fully qualified ,but a few years experience would be good,if you cant paint thats ok as I do all the top coating and finishing. To be right for the job you have to be a petrolhead ,love old fords, yanks ,drag cars and the like.Im not a sweatshop as you all know Im just looking for the right guy/gal who will take time getting the job right. We care for other peoples cars the same as our own and im looking for that special person to join us doing what we love doing. Based on isle of sheppy kent as some of you will know from the website etc. Fancy it? Give me a call 07817300791 for a chat. Cheers si (MITCHVILLE GUVNOR)

deluxemk1 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 quick bump up in case anyone sees this ad just hope that the right person is maybe on here. Favourite applicant would be one of us who was stripping escorts cortinas etc before they were old enough to go to school!
over_head_cam Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 This would be the ideal opportunity for me, sadly Sheppey would probably be 2 hours in the morning and 2 back I'm sure there must be someone out there with the right credentials

countrybumpkin Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 i'd love that job but sadly it would a 5 hour drive each way
deluxemk1 Posted August 11, 2008 Author Report Posted August 11, 2008 cheers fellas , its hard to find good people for fixing our sort of cars these days. Im sure the other pros on here will agree with me. You cant just get anyone to strip /fit or weld these cars. The attitude of many young guys is if it breaks get a new one ,but as we all know that doesnt happen with these cars someone who is carefull and works proud is so hard to find and obviously thats all we could have down here as all the cars are loved by us prob as much as the owners do. Hope im not left on my own for long! That will have to be the way til they right guy /gal steps forward! And thankyou for the nice comments by the way! Cheers si

Nettles Posted August 11, 2008 Report Posted August 11, 2008 This is probably my dream job and it’s practically on my doorstep! However I’ve already had one major career change and I seem to be settled where I am now, even if it has taken me eight years! Although commuting 114 miles every day does suck. Good luck finding help fella.
