sab6024 Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Last night I broke a back tooth in half.....not very painful but is really uncomfortable to eat So I phone my dentist today and because I haven't had my first appointment (that's already booked for Tuesday) they won't see me as I'm not a patient yet How does that work?? They've got my details and I've booked an appointment, so wouldn't that mean I'm a patient So now I have to wait til Tuesday for my appointment that I've already booked for them to do anything about it No doubt they won't have the time and I'll have to make another appointment
Stu_B Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 Awww! I cracked one of mine on an aniseed twist, they just built it up with white filling type stuff & filed it to shape I smashed both my front teeth out a few years ago & one of them has chipped again, I look well rough... but I don't even have a dentist to go & see at the moment, I really must register with one

Tracey Posted August 14, 2008 Report Posted August 14, 2008 I thought you could go to any dentist if you wasn't registered and pay for an emergency appointment
sab6024 Posted August 14, 2008 Author Report Posted August 14, 2008 I thought you could go to any dentist if you wasn't registered and pay for an emergency appointment I thought that if you were registered at a Dentist they should see you, but it would appear not Mine is NHS too!!
Admin Vista Posted August 14, 2008 Admin Report Posted August 14, 2008 you have weak teeth didn't help that I had a hole in it from when a filling dropped out, but it was the nuts that finished it off It's not normally a dentist you need to visit when you get after effects from putting nuts in your mouth
