slightly off subject, my ex workmate bought a VW golf from ebay, traveeled to london to see it 1st, everything checked out ok, altho he didnt do a hpi or insurance check on it, anyway he paid 7k for it, 5 weeks later whilst driving round he was pulled by the plod who did a full check on it, turns out it was stolen/unrecovered..

police took it and hes just been told he wont get a penny back.

I've re-edited the link, just in case it is a scam in order too get peoples passwords and usernames for ebay.

 

I went to the osfebay page and none of the links asked for logging in details, just to be on the safe side
