Love it :ykt:

Incidently Kev, what do you think your's would run in full street trim, i.e. treaded tyres etc? I only ask coz Ian's has run 11's i believe with sticky road tyres (Might of been low 12's, can't remember) and I was wondering if your extra bhp would make a huge difference? I was told a veyron would run 10's? Can't see it myself but what you reckon?

As Russ said, 11.1 @130mph on my road tyres with 30psi in them, and 1.6 bar of boost, with the shocks on hard. I only got 2 decent runs with them on as my clutch decided to slip on my first run against Andy harris, that was when he ran his personal best of an 11.3, i said to Andy you must of been trying harder, he said i was respecting my elders by slipping my clutch and giving him a chance, he said he was looking to his side waiting for me to come past :thumbsup:

I reckon it will do a 10 with the treaded slicks on with the right launch and 2 bar of boost when its mapped with some sort of boost control on it, im still on a cheap bleed valve. But as it was i was spinning the wheels in 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear with them on

But i do drive my car to and from all events i go to, bar one last year at shakey when the tax ran out. And i can use the car on the road for long journeys without worrying that the engine is screaming its nuts off all the way there  My old pinto was horrible on long journeys, but i still drove it everywhere :ykt:8)

And i thought Ian was on slicks in Malta on 13" wheels

11.1 secs at 130mph with no nitrous while still street legal is awesome mate

Cheers mate, will try and get up pod again before the end of the year and try again with the treaded slicks and some wider slicks to try and improve both times :thumbsup:8)

Well last night me and my brother decided to take the escorts out to out local saturday night meet near lakeside.

First of all i went down the main dual carriageway with two Scoobys, one was the old shape with 350bhp and the other a new shape with i dunno what power, and once i got some grip in 3rd gear it was bye bye Scoobys, raced them up and down 3 times and they had to move out of the way everytime

Then the best part of the night was catching up (after they started before me) and passing 3 cars that were flat out on the same road, one was a Scooby, a stripped out Nissan 200sx with over 300bhp and a little old Blue Mini with union jack flag on the roof with a Honda V-Tec engine in it, as i went past in 3rd gear flat out i could hear the V-Tec screaming its nuts off with no more to give

The look on all of their faces when we got to the traffic lights was a picture :ykt::mrgreen: Top notch bruv :thumbsup:

Its times like that im glad i have got Turbo power :ykt:

Not sure yet, may just do a normal RWYB on a sunday at the end of October, when its a bit quieter, it was too busy last time in the evening.

So Mike has a new shell again
