Well last night me and my brother decided to take the escorts out to out local saturday night meet near lakeside.

First of all i went down the main dual carriageway with two Scoobys, one was the old shape with 350bhp and the other a new shape with i dunno what power, and once i got some grip in 3rd gear it was bye bye Scoobys, raced them up and down 3 times and they had to move out of the way everytime

Then the best part of the night was catching up (after they started before me) and passing 3 cars that were flat out on the same road, one was a Scooby, a stripped out Nissan 200sx with over 300bhp and a little old Blue Mini with union jack flag on the roof with a Honda V-Tec engine in it, as i went past in 3rd gear flat out i could hear the V-Tec screaming its nuts off with no more to give

The look on all of their faces when we got to the traffic lights was a picture

Its times like that im glad i have got Turbo power

That was Garys car on the drive mate, i wouldnt want to chance taking the car around Arena Essex to be honest, all i heard about was people crashing Ive spent far too much on it to take it around that oval, give me a £50 shitter Sierra and i would of done

Always good to see osf's wiping the floor with modern plastic! My uncle andy was out in his escy on sunday and there was two blackbird motorbikes in front of him wanting a race. They came off a set of lights from wallington and raced him all the way to beddington, when they pulled up at another set of lights the motorbikes were behind him ! One of them got off of his bike and said 'mate what the f*ck is under that bonnet!'.

Incidently Kev, what do you think your's would run in full street trim, i.e. treaded tyres etc? I only ask coz Ian's has run 11's i believe with sticky road tyres (Might of been low 12's, can't remember) and I was wondering if your extra bhp would make a huge difference? I was told a veyron would run 10's? Can't see it myself but what you reckon?
