Stu_B Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Yeah I think a few people in this thread need to develop a sense of humour! He might come across as a bit of a bellend but westwood is a legend he doesn't take himself too seriously... neither should you!
mk1super Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 "He was shot in 1999 in a drive by shooting." Zetec mate that was a preemptive strike Yeah he got some big names over here and air'd alot of un heard artists but hey so did the great John Peel an he didnt make a bell of himself doing it with daft sound effects an trying to be something he wasnt. What would Busta a rib, 50p an co make of ol westys goin to a posh school Private education didnt do him much good! Any ways i not a bit serious an was only takin the mick out of him- But i dont like him much
hotrodholty Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 Careful what you say now... The company, and the producers of the show might get the hump so what, arsed!
hotrodholty Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 anyone remember this, is nothing else westwood is worth having around for the other radio 1 dj's to take the piss out of with his sound effects

Any ways i not a bit serious an was only takin the mick out of him- But i dont like him much no other radio dj is anywhere near the same quality as the mighty peel - by far the most influential and interesting dj ever imho i believe westwood gets "mad props" from the US hip hop community by the way and he's not pretending to be hip hop, he is hip hop - he's deep in the game son, have you ever heard him not talk like he does? he's not putting it on and i don't think his father's profession or his childhood has any importance anyway, doesn't matter, i'm not going to start defending someone i'm as guilty of laughing at as the next man on a car related note, does anyone else remember when westwood did the voiceover for halfords ads on the telly? - now that was hilarious
sab6024 Posted October 17, 2008 Report Posted October 17, 2008 I remember that car when it was broken down on the side of the A30, then they got it into the Garage I used to work at and his Alternator had packed up Looked better then than when PMR got their hands on it
