Hi!

Sorry if this has been asked before but ive just bin thinkin (scary!), as some will know, i need to get the back end down more on the escort. Ive recently had a panhard rod and anti tramp bars fitted and was wondering if these will be affected at all? Will the brackets need re-positioning? I can imagine they wont as lowering it more will be no different to the suspension getting compressed goin over a bump or something. Is that right?

the tramp bars shouldnt matter

but the p/h rod will push the axle 2 one side u should have a rose joint on the side that bolts 2 the axle just wind that in a bit more and u should be ok

Thanks for the replies. Sorry if im bein stupid, but i cant understand why the panhard rod would need shortening when the axel is only goin up and down?

This is how it looks at the mo (pretty straight)

Because it is moving in an arc from the fixed end. Imagine it after loads of suspension travel, with the panhard rod at 90 degrees to the floor!!, it's end would have moved over, not that this would ever happen but thats the reason.
