ADY Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 I can't believe there going to ruin a capri. I've watched them all and they haven't done a desent one yet.
ann_capri Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 ok im watching it just seen the bit where they went to the ace cafe, spot the osf members cars with the window sticker in
jamie k Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 why would any one waste a lovely capri though why not one of those old rusty shity fords ,what they called again? oh a mark one or two escort thats it
Nettles Posted October 20, 2008 Report Posted October 20, 2008 Well at least they picked the right engine for the job.............................................................................................waits for the onslaught to begin
dannyb Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 there body shop bloke must be shit hot all that welding on them panels and then filled perfect and painted black that is the only thing good about this piss poor show, the wonders the painter does to make the heaps look straight. when will we get a decent car show and not this shite ? they dont even do it. there is a body shop in thamesmead s/e london called south sides that do all the filler/prep/paint.

mk1super Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Why dont them an bloody westwood join forces maybe between em they can pimp together or each other Aye the cue ball can watch or maybe some 3 way action
hotrodholty Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 iv watched all of these programmes and to be honest so far as the mechanic's go this one is by far far far the best one they've built, no 8" wheels spacers or cut down springs, i bet it'll drive alright, gaz shocks, rv8, 5speed manual, wide steels, im just wondering how much they can fook up the lines of the car the way they always do. the mechanic who built the motor needs a slap, 1 good caining and it blew its head gaskets
cisco24uk Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 At least it's better than 'the garage' I hate the computer generated pics where they tell you how a crankshaft works, lets face it most people who watch these shows know within a little what is going on.
lee_capri Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 i think they need my expertisse to fit v8's bunch of cowboy's,i could have fitted that in a hour box as well the rad look way to small for the v8 look's like a standed rad form what i can see, and that's fot the cappa im not sure i like it and door's what a s*it idea look good on a lambo, the only thing i did like was the bonnet
morcheen Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 i'd guessed that they didn't do the filler/paint work, imagine how shit it would look if they did ?
Noodles Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 I think so far its a good build As for paint and filler work how many of us do it I dont I know my limits
Copey Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 bonnet yes, wheels yes, engine yes(better if it was a ford 302 but hey) front wings yes(just) lambo doors noooo, and rear end just...what the fook???
evil knievel Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 in my opinion a normal capri looks much better than that! they've ruined the lines!! and lambo doors?? fook off mate! the engine choice could've been better, but those wheels are just LOVELY!
5.0S-teve Posted October 21, 2008 Report Posted October 21, 2008 Well, I must say, what aload of S**TE Watched chop-shop in the hope the capper would'nt be ruined, but sadly not the case. They made a nice job of making the engine look good, shame they knew naff-all about making it run right!! no use of ARP bolts or uprated gaskets, which considering the V8 had been tuned would have been a wise investment even I had the sense to use these items in my RV8 when I built that and I was only 18 at the time. There's no LSD in it either, they made a big fuss about the fact of putting the V8 in, like it hard work, bloody hell i've got a ford 302 in mine and all works done out on driveway I will watch the next episode, to see if they learn from they're mistakes. Rant over, Steve
