World cup engine mount question...

Are there different types available?

Apaarently there are straight and angled types? I apparently have the angled ones (that make the engine sit slightly further forward so you do not have to cut your bulkhead lip to fit an pinto/cosworth.

 

any ideas???

the only differne types i know of are standard and lower rack mounts, but personaly i wouldnt touch a wcxm for a road car as they seem to cause to much vibrations

wasnt an option when i bought mine, maybe the engine mounts are different?

Well, they look the same as all the others in any pictures i have seen but my engine seemed to sit slightly further forward than any other YB i have seen!

maybe the xmember is drilled to be in a different position on the chassis rail to change the front end geometry? how different is it? sure you didnt put the mounts on backwards or get the mixed up?

Hmmm.. interesting John...

the trouble i have is that if the engine went back, another 5mm, then i simply could not get the prop on. Its a strange one mate and i just dont get it??
