the heater on my escort only seems to blow cold and i cant find a reason why, the enigne gets up to temp and both hoses from the heater get hot and all the controls work as they should, i've flushed the matix out but that made little difference do any onf you guys have any other ideas what i could do?

u need to get the matrix recored or another working one. ive got the same problem with my zodiac

oh bugger i've just put that matrix in the car

can u get your hand inside the box to see if the matrix is hot in the car and not just air being blown from the wrong place if u see what i mean?

yeah i can get to the heater easly but straingly i havent tried that yet i'll try that later when i go out

think you find you have an air lock

dis connect the out let pipe run the engine with a hose in the top of the rad put heater on hot run like that for a short while and connect the pipe back on and then its job done

i did that after i flushed it so i dont think its an airlock

if you disconnect both hoses can you flush water through the matrix? If so then it isn't blocked and should work

the blower dnt work on mine but i cant be arsed to to take the dash out to get to it

just put a coat on if your a bit nesh

thats what i did and the water flowed easy after a load of muck came out so yeah it isnt blocked, and as for putting a coat on thats fine for me but for the ladies its not so good
