Mrs O/H/C Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 am i missing something here? from reading Hellblues 1st post, what i make of it is, that his mate spotted the same bloke in lots of pictures in a magazine he looked through. whats wrong with stating a fact(he is in loads, i checked!!) and how is it stirring up something???? i`m lost on this one!! :: somebody CAN read !!!
jonlarks Posted November 8, 2008 Report Posted November 8, 2008 Meow!!!! I'm still gonna buy the mag cos I love it If Ben wants to be on every page then so be it. Why not put a small picture of himself on certain pages and have a "Where's Morely?" comp?

He got off his arse & did something instead of just whinging his arse off! I think this link may be of help to you LOL LOL http://www.centreforcbtcounselling.co.u ... 1Qod81ppPQ

Morley Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 A double edged sword this one... Had I not have included pics of me working on the car I'm sure I would have had people commenting that five people built the car for me. But as it stands, I was one of the people that built it so there were pictures of me building it. As for any other pictures of me, shows, meets etc etc... I think it's important to be at these things in person wherever possible rather than send someone else to do it, so pictures of me at these things will go in to back up what I'm saying. As a balancing act I shall not include any pictures of me in the next issue
caprinerd Posted November 10, 2008 Report Posted November 10, 2008 As a balancing act I shall not include any pictures of me in the next issue but your so pretty lol

Daggle Posted November 12, 2008 Report Posted November 12, 2008 It seems to me that there is some resentment to Retro Ford on this forum, I don't want to upset the OSF management and mods (I was one once and they do a great job) however it seems that the attitude to RF has changed over the last couple of years. It used to be that BM and RF were good ole boys on this forum, but now it looks like the knives are out for Ben and RF. It looks to me that a post on the retro ford room turns into a personal attack on RF My personal opinion is that the world of old fords would be worse off without RF, it is such a different mag to CF and although I now do not subscribe to RF I still would buy it first and then get CF if I had the money, it's just the layout, type of writing and style I prefer. As for Ben''s mug in the mag, like I have said before, it's his mag and seeing what he has to do each month, at least he is getting out there and trying to keep the enthusiasim for Old Fords alive, Just my opinion....

No Hard feelings just a bit o fun..

Fishtailparka Posted November 13, 2008 Report Posted November 13, 2008 I had seen the title of this thread a few times, but hadn't read any of it. It was only after reading the magazine that I wondered if that was what the thread was about. So, it wasn't just your mate who noticed. I counted 51, (before I had even read this thread) and to be honest I thought it was bordering on the rediculous. I can't think of any other publications where the editor has a pic on nearly every page, so don't really see what that has got to do with it anyway.
