Fishtailparka Posted November 20, 2008 Report Posted November 20, 2008 Do it while you are young mate. Once you get older, wife, mortgage kids etc you will not get chance. Or just walk to Wales instead. Just as much of an adventure

Admin Vista Posted November 21, 2008 Admin Report Posted November 21, 2008 I've been around the world a few times but most of my travel has been by sea. I've been lucky enough to take in both the good, Australia, New Zealand, Malayasia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Fiji, the US, Canada, Chile, Bermuda, much of the carribean and most of Europe The SoSo: Kenya, The Falkland Islands, The Azores, Sri Lanka, Ghana, Egypt, Israel And the bad: Most of the middle East, Senegal, Sierra Leone and a few of the former Soviet satellite states. Good or bad though, it's all worth seeing as we're only here once.
Stu_B Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 A load of mates & I took a couple of cars to france & drove down the coast to the south for a week. It's pretty tiring! I hope to do a roadtrip to Malta in the next coupla years, not gonna have a time limit though. Just take a few months off work & take my time & do it as cheaply as possible living out the back of my car

stevepeanut Posted November 21, 2008 Report Posted November 21, 2008 I went to south of France on a coach trip once, holiday was good, but the journey sucked. A few years ago, my mate rang me up saying, "fancy going to Andora for a couple of days, I want some cigars" So we jumped in my mondeo drove down to the coast, stayed commodore class overnight on the boat, even had waiters bring in our breakfast into this huge cabin we had. Stayed in France near the Andora border, and went in a couple of times filling the car with booze and cigars at stupidly cheap prices. Had a bit of hassle at customs, 2 young lads in an almost brand new mondeo full of booze. Customs guys could not understand a random wooden box in the car, a humodor my mate had bought for his cigars. Cost a lot of money but was a right good time.
Mr Sam Posted November 21, 2008 Author Report Posted November 21, 2008 jelly mould Leone PMSL made me giggle too
