mk1estate Posted December 3, 2008 Report Posted December 3, 2008 Hi, firstly i want to say how sorry i am for your loss and i will be keeping an eye out for it in the Hastings area, but i too feel sick that the thought has crossed my mind that it has to be someone who knows about the car as it was locked up in a garage, i cant see anyone breaking in on the off chance that there would be something nice inside, it HAS to be someone known to us. Another problem is that the more news it gets the harder it will be for the lowlifes to be able to sell it whole, so they will have to break it up so everyone keep an eye open for any bits that you may be offered I really hope you get the car back AND i hope the fcukers get what they deserve. Obviously let us all know if you get any news and of course if we can help
Daggle Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 The briefing for the whole of Kent has now been updated and it holds the information about the stolen OSF's. Hopefully it will raise the profile of our vehicles and will mean that a few more coppers will keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

EscortHeadCase Posted December 8, 2008 Report Posted December 8, 2008 Ok, I understand thieves are like the human versions of magpies. Each out to get the shiniest thing possible. And i figure. hey so you stole some guys brand new RS4 or Ferrari etc etc. Something that guy has gone into a dealer and bought. Thats fair enough , you've stolen something thats worth a lot of money. but at the end of the day it can be replaced. Granted their is a lot of cost. But stealing someones classic car is like walking up to someone and stealing that persons arm or kidneys or something. Its part of them and no matter how hard that person tries you cant replace the hours you spent freezing your balls off in some garage all for that first moment when you drive up the road smiling like a Cheshire cat at your work. Its aweful....I hope that some misfortune makes them realise the error of their ways. either that or a chelsea smile might not go amiss

I really hope this car turns up. Keep all ears open!!
